Randall Gross / Development Economics provides economic and strategic planning consulting services for a variety of public, private and non-profit sector clients.  RGDE believes strongly in the power of arts and cultural amenities as anchors for urban revitalization and for economic and tourism development. Much of the firm’s work relates to the use of arts & culture as a tool for economic development & community revitalization; as well as testing the market, financial feasibility, and economic or fiscal impact of cultural, entertainment, and audience support facilities; and creating overall development, marketing and management strategies. Randall Gross also determines the need and appropriate use for community facilities.  His expertise in tourism provides an additional base for his work in the economics and strategic planning for museums, entertainment, audience support & community facilities.

Several years prior to his work as a consultant, Randall Gross worked as Research Assistant to the U.S. National Endowment for the Arts (NEA). He also worked in State Government bringing the arts to communities for the Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC) and the Tennessee Humanities Outreach Program (HOT).
